Brian Broom-Peltz holds a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Tulane University - with minors in biomedical engineering and business. During his college years, he invested his time in renewable energy research in biofuels. After college, Brian continued his research at Los Alamos National Laboratory seeking to optimize biofuel synthesis with through metabolic engineering and protein crystallography. At Los Alamos, Brian was recruited to join PetaVision - an AI lab performing neuromorphic computing for computer vision.
